COURSE FULL: Intro to Rhino3D with Arthur Hash (PC and Mac)

This 4 Day course provides students with the fundamental skills required to design objects using Rhinoceros 3D modeling software. Assignments will be given that challenge students ability to visualize 3D form, experiment with wearability in virtual space and format files for output. Students will be encouraged throughout the class to identify and explore CAD's potential for their individual design needs.

Students are expected to attend class with a personal laptop or desktop with Rhino installed. If you do not already own Rhino/have it installed, please wait to download it and install it. There is a free trial version available that has a 90 day trial period. It is recommended to have a multi-button mouse with a wheel for the course.

⁠For the last fifteen years Arthur has taught digital fabrication and Jewelry courses at multiple universities across the country including the Rhode Island School of Design, Virginia Commonwealth University and State University of New York in New Paltz. Arthur has managed/operated multiple digital fabrication/metals facilities including Makerbot Innovation Centers, Digital Design and Fabrication certificate programs and MIT Fab Labs.
